Ingredients

- 1 lb phyllo dough (thawed)
- 2 cup mixed pistachios and walnuts (finely chopped)
- 1 cup butter (melted)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¾ cup honey
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp orange blossom water
How to Make It
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix nuts with cinnamon.

Layer 8 sheets of buttered phyllo in a 9x13 pan. Spread a layer of nuts. Repeat with 4 sheets phyllo and nuts until nuts are used. Top with remaining phyllo sheets, each brushed with butter.

Cut into diamond or square shapes before baking.

Bake 45 minutes until golden and crispy.

Meanwhile, simmer sugar, water, honey, and lemon juice 10 minutes. Add orange blossom water.

Pour hot syrup over hot baklava. Cool completely (at least 4 hours) before serving.
