- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 4 clove garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 cup canned diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cup kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 green onions (sliced, for topping)
How to Make It

Brown ground beef in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

Add onion and bell pepper, cook 5 minutes until softened. Add garlic, cook 1 minute.

Stir in chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.

Stir in beans, reduce heat to low, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season to taste. Serve topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
