Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
  • 3 bell peppers (mixed colors) (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 flour tortillas (warmed)
  • ½ cup sour cream and guacamole (for serving)

How to Make It

    Marinate chicken in lime juice, 2 tbsp oil, and spices for 15-30 minutes.

    Heat a cast iron skillet over very high heat until smoking.

    Cook chicken strips 4-5 minutes until charred and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

    Add remaining oil to same skillet. Cook peppers and onions 5-6 minutes until charred but still slightly crisp.

    Return chicken to skillet and toss everything together.

    Serve sizzling with warm tortillas and all the toppings.
