Ingredients

4 servings
  • 6 oz dark chocolate (70%) (chopped)
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 425°F. Butter and flour 4 ramekins. Refrigerate.

  2. 2

Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth. Cool slightly.

  3. 3

Whisk eggs, yolks, and powdered sugar until pale, about 2 minutes.

  4. 4

Fold chocolate mixture into eggs. Add flour, salt, and vanilla and fold until just combined.

  5. 5

Divide among ramekins. Bake 11-12 minutes — edges should be set but center should jiggle.

  6. 6

Rest 1 minute. Run a knife around edges and invert onto plates. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream.
