Ingredients

12 servings
  • 4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup whole milk (warm)
  • ½ cup butter (softened, divided)
  • cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. 1

Dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp sugar. Let stand 5 minutes. Mix in eggs, sugar, 1/4 cup butter. Add flour and knead 8-10 minutes until smooth. Rise 1 hour.

  2. 2

Roll dough into a 16x12" rectangle. Spread with remaining softened butter.

  3. 3

Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over dough.

  4. 4

Roll up tightly from the long side. Cut into 12 equal rolls.

  5. 5

Place in a greased 9x13 pan. Rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.

  6. 6

Make frosting: beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
