- 1 ½ cup glutinous (sticky) rice (soaked 4+ hours)
- 1 ½ cup full-fat coconut milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 ripe mangoes (peeled and sliced)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
How to Make It

Steam soaked rice over boiling water 20-25 minutes until translucent and tender.

Warm coconut milk with sugar and salt until sugar dissolves. Reserve 1/3 cup for topping.

Mix remaining coconut milk into hot rice. Cover and rest 20 minutes — rice will absorb the cream.

Thicken reserved coconut cream with cornstarch over low heat for the topping.

Plate mounds of sticky rice alongside sliced mango.
